Amit has spent nearly a decade in the education industry working with senior management teams of leading global education providers and with the largest PE and VC investors in education. His last assignment was as Partner and Managing Director at Parthenon-EY, the world’s largest management consulting firm for the education sector. He has seen the industry evolve rapidly over the last ten years and is keen to make a difference to how education is delivered and received. LINC Education follows his commitment to bring fundamental changes in this vital sector of the global economy.

Amit is an engineer from University of Mumbai and a MBA from IIM Bangalore. He has over 16 years of work experience spanning multiple organizations including A.T. Kearney and Parthenon.

Abhinav is passionate about the confluence of technology and services in education and firmly believes that both are critical to delivering results. Abhinav comes with nearly a decade of experience in the education sector as a founding member and former Partner of Parthenon-EY’s International Education Practice. He has worked with a number of global higher education institutions on growth strategy, international expansion and improving student experience as well as advised PE investors, publishers, education companies and edu-tech ventures. He currently serves on the operations advisory board of The Education Fund, Australia. Prior to this, Abhinav setup a textile business through a combination of a green field production facility and down stream acquisitions.

Abhinav is an avid squash player and loves to spend time with his 8-month-old boy. Abhinav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

Pranav currently heads operations at LINC Education. Pranav developed a passion for the education sector when working with Parthenon-EY as a management consultant, where he completed a number of strategy, operations and diligence assignments in the education sector. Before joining LINC Education, Pranav spent two years with Guild Capital, an early stage VC fund based out of Chicago and Mumbai. Being the second member in India, he helped Guild setup their operations here, splitting his time between operating Guild portfolios and deal execution. As part of portfolio operations, Pranav worked with a number of high growth startups both as an operator and an outsourcing partner, setting up teams and processes to transfer and scale operations like content generation, data science & analytics, data warehousing etc.

Spare time for Pranav usually means a long run, along with physically pushing his body along new avenues like gymnastics, MMA or equestrian sports. Pranav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Professor John Rosenberg has over 20 years of experience in senior management, leadership and governance in educational institutions. He has held positions ranging from Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University, the largest and most diverse faculty of its type in Australia at the time, to Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic) at Deakin University where he transformed the University’s approach to online education and led major improvements in the student experience and student satisfaction. Most recently he held the position of Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President Global Relations at La Trobe University.

Professor Rosenberg is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society, a Fellow of the Australian Academy for Technological Sciences and Engineering and a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors. He has been appointed an Emeritus Professor of La Trobe University.

Dr. M. Rammohan Rao is a Former Dean and Professor Emeritus at the Indian School of Business Hyderabad Campus, which during his tenure as Dean was ranked in the Top 20 Global B-Schools by Financial Times. He was also a leading architect of excellence at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, which during his tenure as Director was ranked as the best B-school in India by the Business Today – Cosmode survey. He was the Provost at the Woxsen School of Business from July 2014 till April 2016.

He was appointed the Chairman of All India Board of Management Studies constituted by the All India Council for Technical Education. He was the first Dean of an Indian business school to be appointed a member of the Graduate Management Admission Council. He has been nominated by the Ministry of Human Resources as a Member of the Executive Committee of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

He is the recipient of several awards including the prestigious Fulkerson Prize, the Ravi J Mathai National Fellow Award and the 2013 AIMA-Kewal Nohria Award for Academic Leadership in Management Education.

Robyn Quin is an adjunct professor at Curtin University having previously held the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) and, prior to her time at Curtin, was a Pro Vice-Chancellor at Edith Cowan University. She was the Professor of Media Studies at Edith Cowan University for many years and has published widely in media, communications and education. She has had a career-long commitment to student equity and currently works for the Australian National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education as a researcher, writer and consultant. Her research interests and publications are in the fields of educational reform, communications and cultural studies.

Chris Patton is the Owner and Principal of McKay Patton Advisory and a Principal Advisor at Well’s Advisory. Prior to this, he worked as a senior executive to four Vice Chancellors at two public Australian universities. Over the almost 30 years, Chris has worked for seven different universities in Canada and Australia and ran higher education operations in an ASX listed education company. Chris, has also held responsibilities to control Australian higher education operations in numerous third party arrangements domestically and throughout central and southeast Asia and the Pacific. Chris has held responsibility for portfolios across a substantial breadth of both academic and non-academic functions.

As the Principal of McKay Patton Advisory Pty Ltd, he offers advice in three broad areas in higher education: revenue growth and business development strategy; online education expansion, and; compliance and good governance as it pertains to the standards and regulatory requirements in Australian education.

Deepak Chandra is the Secretary at Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, a social sector organisation focusing on Education. Deepak has over three decades of experience in education and industry. His last assignment was as Deputy Dean at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. As a top management member at Indian School of Business, he spent over 12 years building a global higher education institution. Deepak is an acknowledged thought leader in the field of executive education. He regularly consults for Educational organisations, global consulting firms & private equity firms. Deepak has been a board member at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel National Police Academy, on the MHRD committee on Innovation University Bill, ISB’s Business Incubator, Healthpoint Inc., Kaizen Management Advisors Private Limited, etc.

Deepak has an MBA from the University of Allahabad and has attended several education programmes at the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad, Indian School of Business at Hyderabad, IMD Business School in Switzerland, Kellogg School of Management in the US, and others.

Dr John Wood is the CEO, University Partnerships, Australasia at Navitas. A graduate of Oxford and UWA, John has held senior University and Government positions including as Foundation Professor of Business at Notre Dame Australia and as Provost. He was the Deputy Vice Chancellor at Edith Cowan University and the Executive Director in the Department of Employment and Training in the WA government and also speech writer and economic advisor in the Office of the Australian Prime Minister.

Scott Featherston is a partner at Caerus Capital (www.caeruscapital.co), an investment and advisory firm focused on the health and education sectors in emerging markets. Caerus recently published a groundbreaking report on the private education sector in Sub-Saharan Africa. Scott is a former Principal Investment Officer for the IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. During his time at IFC (2005-2015), Scott led numerous transactions in the health and education sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa, South and South East Asia, MENA, and Eastern Europe. Scott’s early career was in engineering and finance. He worked for a global construction and project management firm before joining the finance advisory practice of a “Big 5” global consulting firm.

Scott lectures in finance at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He also sits on the boards of George Health Enterprises – an Australia-based CRO, pharmaceutical, and health technology company with a focus in emerging markets; and Luminus — a Jordanian vocational education company with MENA operations.

Scott did his Bachelor and Masters in Engineering from University of Melbourne. Additionally, he holds a Masters of International Studies from the University of Sydney and a Masters in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

David Ferreira is a partner at Caerus Capital (www.caeruscapital.co), an investment firm focused on the education sector in emerging markets, whose portfolio includes Andela (www.andela.com). David co-led The Business of Education in Africa study that Caerus published and launched at the World Economic Forum on Africa 2017. David has been an advisor to IFC (www.ifc.org) on education investments and remains an advisor to IFC on healthcare investments. He is a shareholder and director of CRE.vc, which invests in tech startups in Africa, and has in its portfolio education sector investments such as PrepClass (www.prepclass.com.ng). David was a founding partner of Praxis Capital, which raised, invested and exited from two funds that focused on healthcare and education businesses in immediately post-Apartheid democratic South Africa. Praxis was the key active shareholder in ADvTECH’s formative years, and David spearheaded that engagement. David spent 10 years as a non-executive director of ADvTECH (www.advtech.co.za), from 2002 until 2012. David has an MSc degree from the London School of Economics, an MA from Oxford University (where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar), and BA and LLB degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
